How To Make The Most Incredible Name in the Universe Understood?
How to Introduce the most Amazing Name of All ...
Scripture is the best launch pad for the most amazing name of all.
Exodus 3:14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you."
I AM WHO I AM in the literal Hebrew means "I will be what I will be. This means self-existent One. From the form of the verb "to be" in the Hebrew language. This expresses the truth that God transcends all.
- He is the past.
- The present.
- The future.
- In other words, He has always been, He is, and He will always be.
- His character is unchangeable and faithful. His essence embodies all time, all power, and His vast excellence is unfathomable.
As a mere mortal I cannot do the name I AM WHO I AM justice, but I can humbly bend my knee in awe. This name I AM THAT I AM is closely related to the name YHWH, or as most would know it as Yahweh, which literally means "HE WILL BE." We will discuss that deeper next week, but today let's just stop and breath in the great I AM.
And since He is the great I AM-Yahweh, then it stands to reason that I am not. What a relief that I do not have to perform, control, or have all wisdom. I can rest in the arms of Yahweh in all things. I do not have to worry for He gives peace. He is trustworthy and able to do exceedingly, abundantly above what we can ask or think. Eph. 3:20 Wow!
I feel so loved, how about you?
God (Elohim) said to Moses "Thus you shall say to the children (as a believer you are that child) …
Tell my children that I AM -Yahweh is with them.
Tell my children that I AM - Yahweh will never leave or forsake them.
Tell my children that I AM - Yahweh loves them so much He gave his only begotten Son to die for their sins.
Listen to this wonderful praise song and breathe in the name of the great I AM Yahweh, by Hillsong Worship called Yahweh.
