Have you ever wondered what the advantage of knowing what your personality type is, including the people you share life with? There is a reason we are created so differently, and why opposites attract and it all has to do with our personality traits.

Personality type assessments provide a useful structure for recognizing and understanding normal, natural differences between people. When I first did my personality assessment, I was amazed to find that I could improve my self-awareness, understand my motivations and develop my natural strengths. How excited I was to find I could also improve my communication skills and potential areas for growth. You too, can begin to understand how unique you are and how the people you live with are all wired slightly differently.

As we learn about our personality type, it can help us appreciate and extend grace for the differences between ourselves and the people in our family, workplace, and social circle. This knowledge allows us to embrace the diversity in the world around us. We believe concerning personality type that Dr. Emerson Eggerichs says it best, "It's not wrong, It just different."

When we understand our personality type, we can approach life in a manner that best suits the way we were created. You would not be wrong to ask why this is important and here are just a few of the many benefits:

· improved time management

· how to problem solve

·make wiser decisions

· develop new skills

· deal with stress better

Included is a link to a TED Talk with Jean Kummerow which gives an excellent description of personality typing and why it is advantageous to understand this.

Below are three links to personality testing. The first two are free.

Both of us (Suzie and Blossom) have taken a personality test and found them to be extremely enlightening, accurate and helpful in our personal growth.

But Jeanette had Jesus and with His knowledge of how He created her, and with the help of an older godly woman in her life Jeanette learned the truth of self-worth and confidence. It may have taken her the long way around however both her HEA and yours await.
